My Project

I have never been one to shy away from a good project, especially one on the farm for making memories with the kids. This year brings a long awaited project for the Gipson family: Clearing the pine timber off a section of our property, leaving the hardwoods and planting native Mississippi prairie grass in the open spots for livestock forage and wildlife conservation. Thanks to Leslie for the great pictures of “Phase One, Clearing.” Next will be “Phase Two, Mulching.” It looks messy now but we can see the end result!
